HORRIBLE WORTHLESS APP

This does nothing that you can’t do for yourself, plus the features that you would actually have a use for LOCK THE COMPUTER UP!!!! I have never ever had my iMac or my Macbook Pro lock up until I used this program. I am running El Captitan on both systems and have 8 GB of RAM and yet if you try to run a ‘quick’ scan or duplicate file finder it will run all night and then you have to do force a hard reboot to get back to your desktop! WORTHLESS WORTHLESS WORTHLESS etc.!!!!!! I’m one VERY UNHAPPY CAMPER Mr. App Store!!!!!!

Improve

Continue improving the application.

It does what it says it does and for a good price, but has a bit of room for improvement.

Definitely does what it advertises and in my opinion for a good price tag when you consider all the time it saves you. However there is room for improvement. That includes things like a speedier response time: sometimes it feels just for a second or two periodically that it freezes. Also that it can use some more logical sorting algorithms when it displays results such as the App Uninstaller feature and the Crashes feature not sorting by Name or Date as examples. Also needs some logic in there regarding Mac App Store apps which it cant uninstall but tries to anyways. Other then that, seems like a great app and Im looking forward to future improvements. :-)

Instead of making things easier made them worse.

This thing keeps crashing. I hate it, it has been a waste of money. Ive been trying to run a scan to find duplicate files but it keeps crashing.

Pretty Cool

The free app is awesome but the paid app only increases the free apps awesomeness so you really cant go wrong with an awesome app with no limitations…i recommend it.

Nice, But Keep Getting ARP Poisoning Attack Message

This applications seems to be great. Id give it 5 Stars, but when I tried to do the Disk Health, I kept getting messages telling me of an "ARP Poisoning Attack" that was happening. It instructed me to close sensitive applications and it will never finish the Disk Health monitoring. Can anyone from the team help? If this is a message that is picked up by "iBoos Preium" then should it not be able to get rid of it, or at least finalize the Disk Health scan?

Okay but needs to fix bug.

Ive really, really enjoyed using this product for awhile now and with the latest update I thought it could only get better. Well I was wrong, the most important part about this app is the disk health run. And now it wont complete the process and it just sits there with a spinning progress wheel. Please, please fix this and Ill rate it a 5.

Good… well it use to be

This app was great, until this update. The disk health feature of it doesnt work anymore. It just sits there. The progress bar doesnt advance anymore. This needs fixed!

Latest Update

This latest update rendered this aplication useless; please fix.

This app was great untill the last update Version 3.4..

This app was great untill the last update Version 3.4 nothing works specially the disk health feature which was all this app is about and even the logo changed to become crappy looking and not retina supprted. I need the old version!!!!!!

Everything Works, with one minor bug!

The disk health component does work, the only issue is that the progress bar doesnt track the process… Which, I guess, causes the disk fixer to go on forever. I just updated iboostup today and ran my usual, quick clean & disk health, tools and my Mac is running a lot smoother than with the previous version.

new update

The new update made the disk health feature not work and i used that one all the time. Now it says i havnt used it in eleven days :(

Perfect until last update

This app is AWESOME for maintaining your Mac. The only Drawback is the loss of the Repair Disk option. Support is very vague on this issue and the tips to fix this dont work right.

Buggy and Support Wont Help

I know you are not supposed to give bad reviews for bugs. I did what I am supposed to and reported the bugs to them multiple times over the last 1-3 months. I have received ZERO responses back. So I am forced to give a bad review and update it once the bug is fixed. We have multiple AppleTV units in our house and in our office. Some are the 1080i version and some are the 1080p version. We see the SAME problem at both locations. When you run iBoostUp, it reports an ARP Cache attack on our network over multiple IPs. In doing a network scan, we see that the IPs it is reporting are all 1080p AppleTV units. The 1080i ones are not reporting. This is an easy fix to filter these out. Again. Once fixed I will update this to 1 star and also post the excuse for zero responses to my tech support requests.

No problems since Mavericks at all.

I feel I needed to dispute the review that said it no longer works. I’ve got no problems, and I use it nearly everyday.

Promising but highly inefficient

Theres tons of scans and boosts that i like but i just ran the duplicate files option for the last 3hrs and it found 63,514 duplicates, i said yes delete them all and what do ya know it shut down- What a waste of 3hrs..!!

It works!

My iMac is running faster and smoother then it has since I first got it 3 years ago. Highly recommended!

Slow, no progress indicators, dragsMac to a helt

I tried the QuicK Clean option to remove unneeded files, and gave up after five hours. It first scans to find the files, then deletes them. The scan took a long time. The delete took even longer, and while it was running there was absolutely no feedback on progress. I could perhaps have lived with that, but while it was running the Mac was basically locked up. No other application could run at anything near a usable speed. After over five hours, I had to quit the app to get things done. When I did, it gave me no “Are you sure?” message. Very poorly designed application. I am sorry I bought it.

Does not work

Purchased the premium version, and it does not work. I click on quick clean, it scans and I click on remove. It tells me it removed the cache, web history, log files and recent apps. When I open preferences, all data is there, When I open recent app, all data is there. Called support and was told to reload it. I did three times, same thing. Don’t waste your money. I’m calling apple in the morning for a refund.

Good

Works great but does not allow me to do system updates. Once they fix this it should be five.
