New 4.2 version crashes on OSX 10.8.5

With OSX 10.8.5, I just updated to version 4.2 from the app store. It now does not launch. Crashes with message "iBoostUp Premium quit unexpectedly". I followed the FAQ number 00 from owners website that states to uninstall and remove some files under Preference that did not exist. The FAQ has not been update since Oct 2014. It is time to can this app and find something else.
